This error can be caused when the name and / or social security number for the person contributing to the IRA are not entered correctly.
How to correct this error:
From our homepage, click on sign in to access your account. Select the current rejected return.
Next, select the Adjustments to income tab in the left margin of the page and then the IRA Deduction. You will then save and continue to the IRA summary page where you will Edit your IRA entry and make your corrections.
Once you have made your correction you will then save and continue to the end of your return and resubmit.
