Question
How do I install the keyboard on my Epilog Mini?

Answer

Keyboard Installation on the Mini

Machine Type: Epilog Mini 18/24

Tools Needed: #1 Phillips Head Screwdriver

  1. Turn machine off and unplug power cord from side of engrave.
  2. You will need to remove both the left and right hand side covers that have the hand holds. These are attached to the machine by six Phillips head screws. There are four on the sides of the covers and two on the rear of the cover.
  3. On the beige colored front panel that the keyboard is in you will see on each side there are two Phillips screws which attach it to the chassis of the machine. Remove these screws with the Phillips head screwdriver.
  4. With the screws removed you will need to gentle pull in a rocking motion from each side front panel to get the panel off to have access to the keyboard assembly.
  5. Once the front panel is removed you will have access to the rear of the keyboard. Here you will need to remove the blue and white cables from the keyboard along with the four Phillips screws which hold it in place.
  6. Install the new keyboard assembly by fixing it into place with the four Phillips screws and attach the blue and white cables.
  7. Re-install the front panel and fix into place with two Phillips screws on each side and then attach the side panels.
  8. That completes the installation of the Mini keyboard.
