Question
Should I Use Itemized Deductions on My Oregon Return?

Answer

Oregon itemized deductions

Oregon Schedule OR-A.

Oregon has its own form for reporting itemized deductions. If you're itemizing your deductions for Oregon, include Schedule OR-A with your Oregon return whether or not you're itemizing deductions on your federal return. You still use federal definitions and AGI to figure any itemized deduction limitations. For more information, see the instructions for Schedule OR-A.

In the OLT software, enter the itemized deduction values to the federal deductions page, the values will pull into the state return for calculation.
