Our software will allow you to pay and submit your tax return in early January. However, the return cannot be transmitted to the IRS until the IRS opens to begin accepting the transmissions for e-file. The expected opening of e-file is mid to late January, however the IRS can change this date. We will post the date on the website and you can find the date on the IRS website as soon as it is published. www.irs.gov
There is no way we can send it to the IRS before this date.
Any return that you wish to file when e-file is not available (open), must be printed and mailed for filing. All prior year returns must be printed and mailed for filing.
