It depends on many variables. Starting from the beginning, with no transferable credits, you can typically earn an Associate and Bachelor’s degree with 120 SH. Choosing a rate relevant degree which allows a greater number of JST credits to be transferred towards the degree may allow you to stretch your 120 SH. Additionally, utilizing the CLEP/DSST Testing programs can also earn you credit towards your degree. If you can maximize transfer credits from your JST and the CLEP/DSST programs, you may be able to use TA/NCPACE to fund through your Master’s degree. Contact the NCVEC for assistance with outlining a strong plan.
