There are several ways to view error codes.
- Within your client return, select the Error Codes link and we will show the error code listing specific to that client return.
- When you process the acknowledgement for your client from the E-file > Get E-file Status Tabs, we will display the processed tax returns and if they are rejected, you can view there error code at that time.
- Further, to search an error code number, go to the E-file Tab > Federal Error Codes (Or State Error Codes). Type the error number and we will display the discription for that error.
