OLTPRO has updated to the new MEF (Modernized Efile System). With the new MEF system, transmissions and acknowldgement processing will be automated to run constantly.
This means from the time you choose to transmit a return, you could see the acceptance acknowledgement within 1-15 mintues.
Some states have not yet converted to the new MEF system and are still using the EMS system which would transmit using the 3 per day drain cycle. The states that are still using the EMS system are as follows:
- Arizona
- California
- DC
- Delaware
- Hawaii
- Iowa
- Massachusetts
- New York
