Question
I receive Software Error 129 in PTPublisher at the start of the job or when it goes to print; the image is not printed on the disc and the job does not finish.

Answer

I receive Software Error 129 in PTPublisher at the start of the job or when it goes to print; the image is not printed on the disc and the job does not finish.

This error indicates that a valid image file has not been selected.  PTPublisher will accept JPG, BMP, TIF, PNG, GIF, and SureThing STD files.  If you select any other type of file or your file is corrupt this error will be generated.

This error will also be generated if you attempt to type in the “Add a Print File” box.  To add text to a label, you should install SureThing CD Labeler and click “Create a Label” when you get to Step 2.  This will allow you to design a label to print on the disc through PTPublisher.
