Windows 10 Update 1803 (5-10-2018) causes driver to no longer communicate with the Bravo Pro Xi.
Solutions:
Option 1: Uninstall the 1803 Windows Update.
Option 2: Uninstall the Bravo Pro Xi Driver. Follow this article. Manually reinstall the driver as an LPT 1 port driver. After installing successfully, manually switch the port to USB 001 or the next available USB port.
- Go to Control Panel - Devices and Printers.
- Choose "Add a Printer".
- Choose "the printer that I have wasn't listed"
- Choose "Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings".
- Choose "Use an existing port: LPT 1"
- Choose "Have Disk". Browse to the location of the downloaded driver. (C:\Users\<currentUser>\AppData\Local\Temp\Setup\PostSetup)
- After installation is complete right click on the printer driver and choose "printer properties"
- Select the "Ports" tab.
- Uncheck LPT1. Select USB001 or the only remaining open USB port. (There should be one since the Pro Xi was previously installed using this port)
