Across the country there are a number of counties that still require a court researcher to dig through a court file and collect the appropriate court information. Courts are constantly changing their processes and don’t always updates investigation companies regarding those changes. In recent years, many of the courts that previously required a court researcher are now automated and allow for digital, remote access into their systems. Some Courts require an access fee to be paid for each name search and some have monthly subscription fees.
