Yes, you can Invite to current tenants who do not need to complete the full application and screening process to create a free RentPay account. Before you can start sending RentPay invites make sure you complete the online enrollment application for landlords to set up your bank account and activate Rent Pay in your account.
Once your RentPay application is approved, follow these steps to send a RentPay Account Invite to any current tenant. (Tenants that complete an online application automatically create an account.)
Sending a Rent Pay Account Invite: (only send a Rent Pay invite to current tenants who do not need to complete the full application and screening process.)
1. Click "My Rent Pay" on the home screen of your account.
2. Click "Rent Pay Invite" at the top of the screen. This type of invite does not include the full application and screening process; this only includes an invite to create an online rent pay account.
3. Your tenant will receive an invite link to create their Rent Pay account and set up their bank account information.
4. Once the tenant creates their Rent Pay account you may setup a rent pay schedule to request a payment.
Your tenants will pay a small convenience fee of just $3.95 per payment.
