OnLine Taxes will allow you to pay and submit your tax return in early January. However, the return cannot be transmitted to the IRS until the IRS opens to begin accepting the transmissions for e-file. This date is usually in the third week of January (on or near Jan 17). We will post this on the website and you can find the date on the IRS website as soon as it is published. www.irs.gov
There is no way we can send it to the IRS before this date.
The last day for e-file of the current year returns is usually on or near Oct 17. All returns filed after this point will need to be paper filed.
