Question
Printed image looks stretched or skewed when the ribbon has 1/3 or less remaining. The printer sounds like it is stuttering. (Inscripta Only)

Answer

Printed image looks stretched or skewed when the ribbon has 1/3 or less remaining. The printer sounds like it is stuttering. (Inscripta Only)

Solution: Adjust the take-up tension using the Inscripta Utility below.  This will only fix the problem when the printing problem occurs with 1/3 to 1/4 of the ribbon remaining.  Typically, the problem is resolved by changing to a new ribbon.  However, if you would like to use the entire ribbon use the instructions and the utility below.

1. Download and read the PDF Instructions.
2. Download the updated
Driver and Utility.
