Answer

Article # 155090 - Labels are printing horizontally offset (left to right) on the LX800/810.  The image is printing too far to the left or right.

The number one cause of this issue is incorrectly loaded label stock.  See this article for label stock loading tips.

There are also adjustments that can be made to fix this issue.  However, before making any adjustments please keep in mind that all adjustments are made from the printer's perspective.  Left Margin offset is the printer's left (your right).  The image is printed up-side down if you are looking at it as it prints, but from the printer's perspective it is printing right-side up, etc.

Left Margin Offset. This adjustment is found in the printer preferences area of the printer driver.  (See this article for more info on how to find preferences.)  If you see white space on the right (printer's left) side of the label and overlap on the opposite side, decrease the Left Margin Offset value (negative numbers are allowed).  If you see white space on the left (printer's right) side of the label and overlap on the opposite side increase the value.  See the example below:

Note: Oftentimes a space on the right (printer's left) side indicates a margin around the label that is not being accounted for.  The printer is factory calibrated for a 2mm margin.  A larger margin around the label will cause a space on the right (printer's left).

Page Size. Often, the page size is not large enough for the label.  If this is the case you may see white space on the right (printer's left) side of the the label and no image overlap on the opposite side.  This indicates that the page size needs to be increased.  Increase the page size through the printer preferences enough to cover the label.
