Answer

How fast can the DUP-07 copy a CD or DVD?

There are two methods you can use to copy from the duplicator, disc to disc or from the hard disk (HDD). There are varying ways to use both functions for convenience factors (such as autocopy, load and copy, etc.), but the actual duplication time is the same. Please find below the speed rates for both methods:

For a Full Capacity 4.7GB DVD:

The time for a full DVD duplication from the HDD at the highest optimal speed is approx. 7 minutes.

The time range for a full DVD duplication for Disc to Disc Copy at the highest optimal speed is approx. 8-9 minutes.

For a Full Capacity 700MB/80Min CD Media:

The time for a full CD duplication from the HDD at the highest optimal speed is approx. 4 minutes.

The time range for a full CD duplication for Disc to Disc Copy at the highest optimal speed is approx. 4-5 minutes.

Note: Above Duplication Performance will vary depending on the quality of the Master Disc and on the quality of the blank Disc.

Note: Above Duplication Performance was based upon the results while using a High Quality Master Disc with 52x Taiyo Yuden CD-R blank media and using a High Quality Master Disc with 16x Taiyo Yuden DVD-R blank media. (TYG03)
