What specific rights are required in the Windows registry?

Check permissions on two folders in the registry. 

To access the registry, go to Start – Run on Windows XP or click the Start (Windows logo) - All Programs - Accessories - Run on Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Type in regedit and click on OK.

Browse to the folders below and give users Full Control.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – SOFTWARE – Primera
HKEY_CURRENT_USER – SOFTWARE – Primera
 
*To change permissions in the registry, browse to the above locations.  Right click on the folder and choose permissions.  Choose the user or group and check Full Control and then click OK.
