PTRip fails to rip audio CDs into my computer or skips albums.
The following items can cause these problems:
1. Make sure PTPublisher is up to date. PTPublisher contains PTRip. Make sure you have the latest PTPublisher to get the latest PTRip.
2. Update your version of iTunes or Media Player. PTRip uses these programs to do the actual ripping of data.
3. Rip tracks into an empty database! If PTRip encounters one track from an album already in the database, it will skip the entire album.
4. Arrange albums from the same artist non consecutively in your stack of CDs to be ripped. Occasionally, if different albums of the same artist are stacked together, PTRip will skip the album.
