Why Was My Credit Card Declined?

Answer

If you are brought back to the same payment page after entering your payment info, this means that your payment did not go through.  You will need to enter the information again.  Pay special attention to the numbers you are typing for the security code on the back.  This number is out to the right of the magnetic strip and is not part of your card number.  Please make sure the address information you enter matches the credit card billing statement. 

Sometimes a valid card is rejected/declined for unknown reasons. Only the credit card issuer can answer questions as to why it may have been declined.  Please try another card, select a different payment option, or call your credit card company. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as our customer service representatives cannot see the reason for decline.

If you choose to use PayPal to make your payment to OLT, make sure that you return to your OLT account after completing the payment to continue through the software to submit the return for filing.
