Different states, and even different Courts have their own requirements. Some states require the four hour Impact of Divorce on Children, while others require five, six, or even twelve hours, but all states require the Impact of Divorce on Children course, if there are children of the marriage. You may meet the higher hourly requirements by combining courses, such as the IODC + IODA. You will receive a separate certificate for each course you register in. If in doubt, please check with your attorney or the Court to ensure that you are meeting your requirements.
