Yes. Samsung SSDs are backwards compatible with SATA 3Gb/s (SATA II) and SATA 1.5Gb/s (SATA I). But, Samsung does not recommend the use of SATA 3Gb/s (SATA II) and SATA 1.5Gb/s (SATA I). If you are seeking maximum performance, it may be better to consider upgrading your motherboard....
