Microsoft doesn’t support being logged into multiple accounts (such as a work and school account) at the same time in a single browser session. If you need to access more than one Microsoft account at once, try one of these quick and easy methods:
- Open your Internet browser and sign in to your first Microsoft account
- Open an Incognito/Private browsing window in your Internet Browser
- Google Chrome: click the three-dot menu and select New Incognito Window
- Mozilla Firefox: click the three-line menu and select New Private Window
- Microsoft Edge: click the three-dot menu and select New InPrivate Window
- In the new incognito/private window, visit my.northwood.edu click NU Portal Login to sign in using your Northwood email address ([email protected])
If you’re only trying to sign in to your Northwood University account and are running into issues, visit logout.northwood.edu to sign out of all Microsoft Office accounts first.
- Use one browser (e.g., Chrome) to log in to the first Microsoft account
- Open a different browser (e.g., Firefox or Edge) and sign in to the second Microsoft account
- In browsers like Chrome, click the profile icon and select Add to create a new profile
- Use each profile to log in to separate Microsoft accounts
