E-mail and internet scams are now a part of life, and both buyers and sellers must be careful. Criminals are using e-mail as a tool for fraud. If you receive an e-mail or Phone call asking you to send personal information that is not directly related to an actual Want Ad Digest transaction, delete the e-mail. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Always request to meet in person. Use your best judgment in setting up the time and location of the meeting.
