For over 98% of people cutting back into the ropes, tying various knots, weaving in the dowel pockets and feeding the rope back into itself is to complicated and the results are not good. So selling just the chair fabric with or without the dowel pockets is not done.  We can also offer you a discount if you don't want some of the items.
