How do I add (map) a network printer?

1. Locate the name of the network printer you wish to print
2. Click the Start/Windows  button
3. Type in \\miadmin\ 
4. Hit Enter
5. Double click the name of the desired printer
   • Get the network printer name which is attached via a label located on the physical printer or ask a co-worker for the name of the printer.
   • NOTE: Xerox machines require an Accounting ID/User ID copy code--to obtain this code please contact the Finance Office at x74207.
6. Allow 1-2 minutes for the drivers to install

If you receive an error message or if your computer is asking for an administrator password please submit a Hardware Support request.
