Question
Connecticut State e-filing Requirements for Tax Practitioners

Answer

Connecticut has eliminated the requirement for a separate e-file application. Once the IRS accepts you into the program, you are accepted in the Connecticut program. If you are an out of state preparer, you are required to either mail or fax a copy of the federal 8633 and the IRS acceptance letter.  You will then be included in DRS's mailing list for the e-file handbook.
