Question
What are the benefits of pursuing a certificate found in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) resource list?

Answer

CTE programs and institutions on the resource list are carefully selected based on the program requirements determined by the DoD Voluntary Education (VolEd). Participating institutions have agreed to evaluate and award credit for the military training and occupational experiences, as appropriate to the certificates. These certificates can be a stand-alone educational credentials or stackable credits towards a degree program, serving as a building block for an associate and/or a bachelor's degree.  Certificates provide marketable, entry-level skills for civilian employment and strengthen transition possibilities into civilian work. It also enhances skill sets in support of the military occupational specialties and promotion.
