Question
What is the process for submitting Student Agreements if we participate in the GoArmyEd portal?
Answer
If you are a Letter of Instruction (LOI) school, the following will apply to your institution for submitting Student Agreements:
1) If a Soldier is in a Fully Developed Degree Plan (FDDP) at your school, your process for submitting Student Agreements for those students does NOT change. Schools are required to submit Student Agreement/Official Degree Plans in GoArmyEd by the time the Soldier completes six semester hours for their current degree plan. School users may view the Current and Prospective Student Roster report to view the due date for the Student Agreements and details on how the Student Agreement must be submitted: Course Planner vs. Secure File Transfer Protocol (sFTP). The report is sent to schools weekly and can be found in the Outgoing > Reports folder in sFTP.
2) If a Soldier is in a Drop-Down Degree Plan (DDDP) at your school, the Soldier is required to complete the Course Planner. A signed copy of the Student Agreement/Official Degree Plan is required to be given to the Soldier so the Soldier can complete the Course Planner by the time six semester hours is completed under the current degree plan. School users also have the ability to upload the Student Agreement in the Soldier’s eFile.
If you are a Non-LOI School, the following will apply to your institution for submitting Student Agreements:
1) The Soldier is required to complete the Course Planner by the time six semester hours have been completed under the current degree plan. A signed copy of the Student Agreement/Official Degree Plan is required to be given to the Soldier so the Soldier can complete the Course Planner. School users also have the ability to upload the Student Agreement in the Soldier’s eFile on behalf of the Soldier.
IMPORTANT: All processes within GoArmyEd for submitting Student Agreements, eFile upload, approving Course Planners or any other policies pertaining to Soldiers using Tuition Assistance are still in place and have not changed as a result of the SOC DNS/CTE Sunset.
