What is the process for submitting Student Agreements if we participate in the GoArmyEd portal?

Answer

If you are a SOC Degree Network System (DNS) Institution and you participate with the GoArmyEd portal, the following will apply to your institution for submitting Student Agreements.

 

1) If a Soldier is in a Fully Developed Degree Plan (FDDP) at your school, your process for submitting Student Agreements for those students does NOT change.

 

2) If a Soldier is in a Drop Down Degree Plan (DDDP) at your school AND the degree is also a SOC DNS Degree, we are asking schools to use the new Excel SOC DNS Student Agreement template and process for submitting these SAs to SOC via the SOC website. A signed copy of the Student Agreement is required to be given to the Soldier.

 

3) For Service members in Navy, Marines, Air Force or Coast Guard who are in a DNS Degree at your school, copies of these student SOC DNS Student Agreements must be provided using the new Excel SOC DNS Student Agreement template and submitted via the SOC website.

 

You do not need to submit copies of Student Agreements to SOC for Service members in degrees outside of a SOC DNS Network. 

 

IMPORTANT:  All processes within GoArmyEd for submitting Student Agreements, eFile upload, approving Course Planners or any other policies pertaining to Soldiers using Tuition Assistance are still in place and have not changed.  SOC DNS is a separate program schools petition to be a member of and must adhere to SOC DNS policies.
