Question
How should label stock rolls be wound (Copy Position) to work with the AP360/362/550 Applicator or LX Series Printer?

Answer

Labels must be "wound out" for all Primera Printers and Applicators!

Orientation depends on the type of container you are using.

Chart showing acceptable Copy Positions for Primera Printers and Applicators

  • For the AP362/360: most round containers will use Copy Position 3 or 4.
  • For the AP550: containers can by rotated to fit Copy Positions 1-4.
  • For the LX Series Printers: copy position can be adjusted in your print application to fit any label orientation.  However, before ordering custom labels, label orientation should be determined based on your container and which applicator you are using.  Contact tech support for help.
