Question
There is a vertical line(s) in the images that are printed with the Inscripta.

Answer

There is a vertical line(s) in the images that are printed with the Inscripta.

Most likely there is a spec of dust/dirt on the print head.  Try cleaning the print head with alcohol and a soft cloth.  To clean the print head:

  1. Eject the print head carriage.
  2. Remove the ribbon.
  3. Clean the print head.  Be careful!  It could be hot if you have just used it.  The print head is located directly in the middle of the carriage.  It runs the entire width of the carriage.  When the ribbon is installed and taut you can see the location of the print head by finding the peak in the ribbon.  This is the only point where the ribbon touches the carriage.
