A. Rights. Typically, running as administrator will fix this problem. 

 

1.  Browse to C:\Program Files\Primera Technology\PTPublisherService (32-bit) -OR-

C:\Program Files (x86)\Primera Technology\PTPublisherService (64-bit)

 

2.  Right click on controlactivation.exe and select ‘Run as Administrator’.

 

3.  Right click on ptpublisherservice.exe and select ‘Run as Administrator’.

 

4.  Restart the computer.

 

Note:  You may also need to disable UAC.  Please see this article.

 

B.  Activation Method. Please attempt to activate using the Admin Utility.  Go to Start - All Programs - PTPublisher - Administrator Utility.  (Do not click the "Activate PTPublisher NE.exe" link).  Once the Admin Utility is open, you will be brought to the activation tab if you need to activate.  If activation is still not possible please see this article.
