The original HI return must be accepted with the state. On the summary page for the tax year, click on "file amended" below the federal/state heading. Many corrections must be completed in the federal return prior to amending the state. (The federal amended is not required to be "filed" if the change does not affect that reurn)
If you are filing an amended return, you must submit a complete return and attach Schedule AMD along with all required forms and statements. If you are claiming any tax credits, remember to attach the required forms, such as Schedule CR and Schedule X, even if you claimed the credits on the original return.
