Your Connecticut income tax return is due on or before April 15, 2022. If you are not a calendar year filer, your return is due on or before the fifteenth day of the fourth month following the close of your taxable year. If the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the return will be considered timely filed if filed by the next business day.
In 2022, the due date for filing a Connecticut Income Tax Return (April 15) falls on a Friday which is a legal holiday in the District of Columbia (Emancipation Day). Therefore, for filing purposes, the return (and payment) will be considered timely if filed on or before Monday, April 18, 2022.
