Question
Do I need to mail anything in to the IRS?

Answer

Our website allows you to e-file your tax return. In most cases, this means that you will not be required to mail anything to the IRS.

Exceptions to this include, but are not limited to:

  • You owe money to the IRS and you did NOT choose to pay online when you filed the return - You will need to print the voucher listed with your forms and mail a check or money order to the IRS. You do not need to mail your tax return forms.
  • You are amending your tax return - All forms, along with your income statements and 1040x, must be mailed by you to the IRS for processing.
